Lights At Night
This is another shot from my late night photo shoot in downtown Caldwell on Christmas Eve. I was experimenting with my camera and fiddling with some of the settings hoping to capture a shot of the winter wonderland feel.
Though the quality of the shot leaves a lot to be desired there is an almost softness to the scene. My husband was walking down the alley a bit further to see if there was a spot for me to get a shot of the other bridge that was behind while also being able to see the police department-which was also lit up quite nicely.
I love how the lights on the trees reflected on the snow on the ground making it almost feel like you are in an arcade. The night was clear after days of snow and though the temperatures were hovering around 20 or lower, it was worth the stiff fingers to try and capture some of the magic of the night.
