On our day trip to McCall earlier this year, we spent some time on the shores of the lake. I honestly cannot remember the actually name but there is only the one lake there. Behind the shop where we bought huge ice cream cones is what you would call the marina.
For being such a small town, even a tourist town, there were many more boats than I anticipated. As a result there were several empty docks as well for whatever purpose you may choose.
Though we were there in the summer, it was getting to the tail end of the season and so the water was a bit chilly. Sadly we were unable to go swimming in the beautiful water. With it being such a clear day, the lake looked as blue as the sky.
I loved this shot because the lake looked so calm and peaceful. It reflected our mood of the day perfectly. It was the perfect destination for our family day.
