Bounce House

Bounce House

I took this photo back in August of 2007.  My oldest son was about 18 months at the time and I believe this was his first time in one of those bounce houses.  It was set up in the children’s section of the Oregon State Fair .

I remember that day because it was his first fair experience.  We had the stroller loaded with his backpack (his diaper bag), my purse, goodies to eat (to save money), I believe two sippy cups (always have a backup), and this huge inflatable Spongebob Squarepants my husband one for our son at a cheesy game.

He played for quite awhile and when snapped this shot, he was sitting down for a rest watching the big kids in the BIG bounce house.  He had such a wonderful time that day!

I took this photo with my very first camera.  A Canon EOS 650 film camera.  I was just learning how to shoot pictures, to set up a photo, and all the fun things that go with it.  It was torture for me to not be able to see my shot RIGHT then.  I think it was good practice for me and now I don’t rely on being able to take more shots and see immediate results.

This photo makes me anxious for the nicer weather to arrive and our spring/summer schedules to begin!
